Privacy Policy

LAAVA is designed for mortgage brokers who need to organise, quality-check and review loan documents before submission.

We collect account details, uploaded case packages, generated file review results, operational logs and support communications needed to run the service.

Uploaded case packages may include identity documents, credit reports, income documents, bank statements, tax returns, application forms, servicing calculators, public search outputs and other personal, financial or identity information.

We use uploaded documents only for broker file organisation, technical review, submission readiness checks, checklist display and result download.

Uploaded files and generated outputs are not used to train public, shared, or general-purpose AI models unless LAAVA obtains separate, express and informed opt-in consent for a clearly described purpose.

LAAVA may use cloud storage, OCR or document parsing tools, LLM services, public search providers, email delivery providers and payment providers as subprocessors where those features are enabled.

Production storage is intended to use an Australia region where supported by the configured cloud services. Some subprocessors may process limited operational data outside Australia depending on their service terms.

Broker users are responsible for giving required privacy notices and obtaining borrower, guarantor, mortgagor, director, shareholder or security-provider consent before uploading personal, financial or identity information.

Access is controlled through account registration, email verification, admin approval, company-domain seats, role-based access and operational audit logs.

If LAAVA becomes aware of an eligible data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will take required response steps and notify affected individuals and the OAIC where required.
